Take part in the water tower tour "Water & Wine"

The water tower in Prenzlauer Berg is the oldest of its kind and is considered a landmark of Berlin. It was completed in 1877 and in operation until 1952. It is located between Knaackstraße and Belforter Straße in the Kollwitzkiez district of Prenzlauer Berg and supplied the rapidly growing former working-class district. The apartments of the tower's machine workers were located below the water tank. Even today, they are still inhabited and highly sought after.

Experience the more than 160-year history of the Prenzlauer Berg water tower system on a guided tour of the park and the deep tanks. Learn also about the wine growing in Berlin and assist to a tasting event of wine, "Der Besondere" (German for "The Special").

Take the evening tour

October is the perfect and the last month to take Stromma's evening bus tour. The sun goes down earlier as in summer, and you can enjoy the city in its night dress without freezing in the winter weather. Berlin has a different glare and lights up quite differently as you would expect. Since the street lamps are rather old-fashioned, you can still appreciate the golden lights decorating the landmarks. One of our favourite places to see is not the Brandenburg Gate but the Gendarmenmarkt.

Date: Fri-Sun at 18:00 | 19:00 | 20:00
