Take a boat tour aboard the beautiful wooden boats and discover both Lyngby Lake and Mølleåen.
Mølleåen is a natural stream that emerged after the ice age and was excavated in the 1880s as part of Copenhagen’s defense. Over the years, Mølleåen has transformed into more of a canal than a stream.
The boat tour takes you by a swamp forest where more than 300 plant species grow. This protected area in Frederiksdal plays a crucial role in conserving biodiversity and preserving ecosystems.
Frederiksdal is also a popular excursion area, rich in history and with many places to discover. Take a walk in the park attached to Frederiksdal Castle or in the forest.
The full roundtrip takes approximately 70 minutes, but you can hop off at as many stops as you like.
Please note that the ticket is not for a specific departure time, and there is a limited number of seats on the boats.
