One thing that can make the residents of Copenhagen all giddy and excited is summer – warmth, sun, long light evenings. Another one that can make the lively city even more vigorous is football! There are a lot of things to discover between the football matches on TV and the football arena Parken Stadium. Are you one of the lucky ones who got a ticket to the football games at Parken Stadium? This arena is located at Østerbro next to Fælledparken within about 35 minutes walking distance (3 km) from the city center. We suggest that you take your time to enjoy a nice stroll through beautiful settings along the city lakes to the arena. If you aren't watching the games in Parken you might enjoy all EURO2020 games at the Football Village at Ofelia Plads. In between games you can enjoy various different activities for children, young adults and grown ups. Entrance to the Football Village is free, but you need to book a ticket due to limited space.

Eat ice cream next to the Little Mermaid, wave at the Queen at Amalienborg Palace, go shopping at Fisketorvet, relax with the locals at the Kings Garden next to Rosenborg Castle or hang out at the waterfront by the Black Diamond. With a Copenhagen City Sightseeing ticket you can right the bus to some of the most authentic Copenhagen sights and places. Join the Copenhagen Classic Route and ride through the inner city of Copenhagen where summer brings people to the streets and outdoor cafés all day long. The water and the banks are a great draw for locals during the summer. The canals are filled with boats - some looking more or less like actual boats. The banks are filled with people enjoying the sun, having a drink and relaxing in a social setting. We suggest you go visit Toldboden and the popular new restaurant Toldboden Seaside. Broens Gadekøkken is another great place to get a bite to eat next to the canals and of course Nyhavn offers plenty of opportunites to enjoy a lunch, a beer or ice cream.
