And if the summer night turns out to be chillier than expected, you can always sit indoors. The cosy cafeteria has large windows in all directions, so you will not miss out on the sea view. Our bar sells a variety of cold beverages and light snacks.
The Helsinki coast and the districts
Helsinki has over 130 kilometres of coastline, featuring a wide range of different landscapes, cafeterias, restaurants, ports and beaches. The boat glides past the Kaivopuisto beach, Mattolaituri, Cafe Ursula and Liuskasaari. On the eastern side of the city, you can see both old and new Helsinki – Kruunuvuorenranta, Herttoniemi, Kulosaari and the charming Mustikkamaa. As you reach Kalasatama, the quaint island atmosphere is replaced with urban high-rise buildings and metro trains that gleam on the horizon. At the end of the route, you will see the beautiful red-brick buildings in Kanavaranta and the handsome ice-breakers in front of the historical Katajanokka district.
