Reservations Sales Agent
(24-40 uur, Amsterdam)
The function:
As a Reservations Sales Agent you are the company’s front piece. Every day you are fully committed to provide our customers with the best service. You answer their questions in by phone or e-mail, patiently and always with a smile on your face. In between, you perform back office activities and provide support to the Sales department. Customers contact you with questions about their booking, our products or to make a reservation. You provide the customers with all the information they need and carefully record the reservation in various systems. As a result, your Operations-colleagues know what is expected of them. In this way you ensure that the booking is a success and that the customer disembarks with a memory for life.
Your tasks:
- Answering customer questions via email or telephone;
- Booking reservations in various systems;
- Taking group reservations;
- Managing the capacity of individual sailings;
- Carrying out back office activities;
- Carrying out ad hoc activities to support the organization.
Who are you?
- You have experience in customer support;
- You are available immediately or at short notice;
- You are accurate, social and service-oriented;
- You have commercial insight and can work independently;
- You work in a structured way and you keep an overview in busy periods;
- You have a good command of the English language (verbally and written). Command of Dutch and another foreign language (French, Spanish or German) is a plus;
- You are flexible in terms of working days;
- You love the city of Amsterdam and like to share this with our customers.
