During this luxurious daytrip we take you to the royal town of The Hague. You’ll meet your driver/guide at the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam. You get a transfer with a comfortable and luxurious minivan with air-conditioning. The journey to The Hague takes about 75 minutes so you have enough time to enjoy the view of the typical flat landscape of Holland.
The Hague is the country’s third largest city and home of the Dutch royal family. The Dutch parliament and most of the foreign embassies are here too, together with several royal palaces, and over 150 international organizations, including the International Court of Justice. On arrival we go on a tour that covers all these highlights.
During the city tour we will make a stop at the Peace Palace and the International Court of Justice. After a lunchbreak in the center of the city the driver will bring you to one of the three cultural highlights of your choice:
- The Mauritshuis Museum: you can admire the Dutch paintings from the Golden Age. Think about paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer.
- The Gemeentemuseum: “A modern palace of the arts”. This beautiful building possesses impressive art galleries of famous artists like Mondriaan, Monet and many others. You can also enjoy the spectacular photography exhibitions and learn all about the Dutch Delftware.
- Madurodam: Holland in miniature style. The artisanal built miniatures of historic Dutch houses, famous buildings and attractions can be seen here.
Your personal guide and driver will take you back to Amsterdam late in the afternoon.
