To get to the top of Mount Aksla from the town park you can take the stroll of the 418 stairs to the top. At the top you will find the restaurant Fjellstua that has an outdoor restaurant, cafeteria and a viewpoint.
If you don’t feel like taking the stairs up to the top you can join or Hop On – Hop Off City Sightseeing tour that will stop at the Mount Aksla viewpoint and at several other places in Ålesund.
