Sunnmøre Museum is a folk museum for coastal culture. Through various exhibitions and a large collection of old houses and boats, you learn about the life and work of the people from the Stone Age to new times. In the open-air museum, 55 old houses have been built, encircling a beautiful open-air area.
Exhibitions in the main building and the boat hall tell about the life of the Sunnmøre people through the centuries. The foundation Sunnmøre Museum constitutes 12 different museums in the region.
