The magnificent church is located close to the Royal Palace. As other churches they have baptisms, weddings and church services, but they also have royal weddings, concerts and parliament openings.
The church has had its present appearance since the mid 1400's but dates back to the 13th century. It is built according to German / Baltic model in brick, which was easy to shape and was close to hand at this time.
In addition to the magnificent interior decoration of the church, there are also famous statues, royal thrones and art.
