On this charter cruise you can explore different architectural aspects of the capital area.
Helsinki is currently expanding into coastal areas such as Kalasatama, Jätkäsaari, and Kruunuvuorenranta. Former industrial and port areas are being developed into dense residential neighborhoods, accompanied by significant public transport projects. The Kruunusillat bridge project is a visible part of the new archipelago landscape.
Guided tour on new coastal residential areas and Helsinki's history
During the cruise, your local guide will provide insights into the new coastal residential areas and the history of Helsinki. The route also includes architectural landmarks, such as the Allas Pool complex right next to the Market Square and the wooden Löyly sauna in Hernesaari as well as historical, older districts of Helsinki.
Two interesting route options
Helsinki's coastal landscapes range from Art Nouveau to modern architecture. There are two architecturally interesting route options to choose from:
- Eastern Route (e.g., Kalasatama, Kruunuvuorenranta, Herttoniemenranta)
- Western Route (e.g., Jätkäsaari, Lauttasaari, Keilaniemi)
This guided cruise is available in English, Finnish and Swedish.
Buffet lunch or dinner completes the cruise experience
Enjoy the coastal scenery of Helsinki with a delicious buffet lunch or dinner. For this cruise, we recommend the tasty "Tastefully on the Waves" menu, but you can naturally choose any menu option from our selection.
