A mix between spooky and cosy or pure horror - what do you dare? Throughout the autumn, you can experience horror houses, ride spooky attractions, and meet scary characters at Gröna Lund. Here is something that appeals to all Halloween lovers - regardless of age. The small area “Lilla Grönan” offers just the right amount of spookiness - a cosy autumn version of the amusement park decorated with pumpkins, spiderwebs and festive witches. Feel free to arrive all dressed up in your spookiest costume and make sure that you don’t miss the Halloween theatre on the Little Stage.
Do you like horror? Then you should pay the large area a visit, that during Halloween has turned into a nightmare full of unpleasant creatures. Discover seven horror houses, gather all your courage to board the mysterious ship or walk through the (not so) Fun House? Take the boat to Kastellet in Vaxholm and visit Vaxholm's Fortress Museum, which arranges fun activities during the autumn holidays. Try the educational children's activity “The Space Pirates” – can you solve all ten of the tricky stations around the museum? On Tuesday and Thursday during the holidays, you can also try circus activities such as juggle balls, hula-hoop, acrobatics in pairs and building pyramids with the astronaut Mars. Also, make sure that you don’t miss out on experiencing the archipelago's largest museum or to learn more about Stockholm's exciting history of defence.

Create art with nature as inspiration. Sketch a selected view or detail from the forests around Artipelag, which you will later colour and decorate. Recommended age 8-10 years.
November 5 - Creating forest animals
Create your favourite forest animal with the help of forest's assets. Recommended age 6-8 years.
October 31 & November 6 - Forest history & drawing
Join a fairy tale moment in nature! Listen to the read aloud session of a fairy tale in a cosy place in the woods. After the story time, there is time for discussion and drawing. Recommended age 4-6 years.
Do something educational during the holidays - go on the sightseeing tour The Royal Canal Tour. Regardless of whether you live in Stockholm or if you are visiting, a sightseeing tour is always fun for both adults and youths. During the autumn, it is extra spectacular to glide down the Djurgårdsbrunn canal through an avenue of trees in beautiful autumnal colours, nature truly sparkles. During the tour, both historical and contemporary stories about Stockholm are told, and you will get to know everything about the places you pass.
