Vaxholm’s Kastell is an old fortress located just outside the archipelago town Vaxholm. In the old courtyard you can relax in the comfortable lounge chairs, seated either in the glorious sunshine or in the shade under the billowing sails or the cushions in the arches of the old fortress’ walls. Mälarpaviljongen is located in a lush oasis right on the water by Norr Mälarstrand. From here you can enjoy the views and watch the boats in Riddarfjärden. There is a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who wants to enjoy a bite to eat or a drink!

On the east side of the small island of Skeppsholmen you can find bar and restaurant Torpedverkastan. It has fantastic views over Nybroviken, Djurgården and Strandvägen and on the menu you can find snacks as well as light lunches and dinner. Here you can sit outside even if the evening is on the cooler side – they have outdoor heaters, blankets and sheepskin plaids.
