Scenic Lake Mälaren, turn-of-the-century ships, and good food = the best combination for a successful evening! It's hard to find a more unique environment! Sit down at Bistro Kastellet's cozy outdoor terrace inside the walls right by the large courtyard. How to get here: Take your own boat and dock in Kastellet's guest harbor or take a boat to Kastellet from central Stockholm. From Vaxholm you can easily go by ferry, the ticket is bought on board the ferry.
Sandhamn is the sailing capital of the archipelago and a popular summer destination. You can eat in the outdoor area, which sports views over the bustling harbour, in the restaurant or the cosy pub. The restaurant serves food inspired by the archipelago and is open all year around!
