M/S Sjöfröken is a little gem from 1875, she is very well suited for shorter transport. On board, we can arrange breakfast or canapés, snacks and drinks.

History

M/S Sjöfröken was built in 1875 at Motala Verkstad and delivered to Ångslupsbolaget Nya Föreningen, then named Delfin. In 1880, she assumed the Ångslups Stockholm AB. She was motorized in 1940 and renamed Sjöbuss 2.

20 years later, she is sold to K. Sundberg in Knivsta and will be named Torsund. In 1971 she sold to Ångfartygs AB Stömma Kanal and she get her present name, Sjöfröken.

In 1992 she goes through further renovation and installation of a new main engine, in 1996 she is back in traffic, first at Brunnsviken and then the hop-on hop-off boat between Stockholm's main attractions in Strömma's possession.
