Seeing Stockholm from the water is the probably most beautiful way of getting to know the Swedish capital. Stromma offers a wide range of boat tours for every taste, occasion, and weather – from Hop On–Hop Off sightseeing tours to guided trips through the city and excursions out to the famous archipelago. This is the perfect way to discover Stockholm from the water and to get a whole new and picturesque perspective on the city, its many famous sights, and the surrounding nature.
Hop On-Hop Off by boat
One of the most popular options is certainly riding our Hop On–Hop Off sightseeing boats. You can join us for a complete tour to Stockholm’s most beautiful sights aboard our comfortable boats with free Wi-Fi and audio guide. Or you can instead get on and off as much as you like at various stops throughout the city to explore it on your own. With these tours, you enjoy complete freedom to discover Stockholm just the way you want to!
Boat sightseeing tours in city
If you’d rather enjoy a non-stop sightseeing tour by boat without getting off, you have several options to choose from, each with their own route and charm. With the Royal Canal Tour, you will discover Stockholm’s lush parks. The tour takes you around Djurgården, the old royal hunting ground that today is one of the city’s most popular parks. On the way, you will get to enjoy a view of historical buildings, the island Södermalm, museums, and the green heart of Stockholm. Our classic boat sightseeing tour, Under the Bridges of Stockholm, takes you on a trip through the entire city. You will pass below a total of 12 bridges and see Stockholm’s biggest sights and most beautiful parts, its islands with their famous attractions, and the beautiful nature that makes the Swedish capital such a popular destination to visit.
All our sightseeing boats offer you a selection of pastries, drinks, savory snacks, and of course everything you need for the famous Swedish “fika” – a cinnamon bun and coffee.
Guided boat tour in the archipelago of Stockholm
With a duration of 2.5 to 3 hours, the Archipelago Tour is our longest sightseeing tour by boat and, as the name suggests, takes you out into the Stockholm archipelago aboard one of our classic and carefully restored ships. Enjoy a journey filled with spectacular sights of the famous Swedish nature and archipelago scenery as well as the historical buildings we pass on our way while our on-board guide tells you all the big stories and little anecdotes you need to know.
On the Archipelago Tour, you can even order a warm lunch, prepared on board by our chef.
