Seabin – an ocean dustbin

A Seabin is a floating dustbin collecting unwanted waste and particles in its surroundings. It can collect as much as 1,5 kilo (3Ib 4.9oz) waste per day including micro plastics as small as 2 mm as well as oil particles on the surface. In Sweden and Denmark Stromma together with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and local partners have placed out Seabins to improve the environment in/of the Baltic Sea.
