Gothenburg Museum of Art is one of Sweden's finest art museums and the third largest in the country. In the museum’s collection you will find well-known international and Nordic artists.
The art is of international class and includes unique works from the 15th century to today. The majority of the collections are western art with focus on the Nordic region, but here are also artworks from Europe and USA. An important part is the Fürstenberg Gallery, which is one of the museum's most appreciated parts.
The museum also offers temporary exhibitions, family activities, lectures and guided tours. There is a well-stocked museum shop with books and designs for all ages.
