The Vasa Museum – one of the most famous museums in Stockholm

At the Vasa Museum you get to see the famous Vasa ship – the world’s best-preserved ship from the 1600’s. Here you can find many interesting stories. What was life like onboard? How was it salvaged? You also get to see the ship up close. The entry fee includes an audio guide that’s available in several languages.

Amusement park Gröna Lund

Skansen – outdoor museum on Djurgården

Walks on Royal Djurgården

Discovering the island of Royal Djurgården is best done on foot. Here you can find plenty of walkways, such as the ”Love Path” – a romantic stroll through the lush nature. Another popular walk is along the canal. Regardless of where you walk on the island you are guaranteed scenic views.

Junibacken – step in to a fairy tale

At Junibacken you get to experience the world of some of Sweden’s most popular children’s books – a world filled with theatre, music, song and fantasy. Don’t miss the Story Train that takes you through the wonderful world of popular characters and the Moomin exhibition, based on Tove Jansson’s popular stories.

Royal Canal Tour – boat sightseeing

Popular boat sightseeing tour Royal Canal Tour gives you the chance to experience Royal Djurgården from the water. The Hop On-Hop Off busses is one of the easiest ways to discover the city. The tour stops at Royal Djurgården so that you can easily get off and explore the island. If you stay on for the full tour, which takes just over 1,5 hours, you will see many of Stockholm’s most famous sights and buildings.
